Rare Epilepsy Network

The PMG Awareness Organization is proud to announce it’s membership to the Rare Epilepsy Network!

The mission of Rare Epilepsy Network (REN) is to work with urgency to collaboratively improve outcomes of rare epilepsy patients and families by fostering patient-focused research and advocacy. It’s vision is to support, grow and maintain a network of rare epilepsy groups formed around a living overarching structure tasked with defining REN projects, in which REN groups are able to choose to participate.

The goals of the REN stand connected with that of The PMG Awareness Organization. With many of our diagnosed families feeling the effects of epilepsy, these goals are extremely important in the areas of knowledge, awareness, and quality of life for everyone affected by epilepsy.

The Top Three Goals of the Rare Epilepsy Network:

*Promote and enable successful patient-centered outcomes research.

*Enable successful clinical trials in the rare epilepsies.

*Increase representation of the rare epilepsies in funding, research, advocacy and drug development, across a wide range of public and private health organizations.

The PMG Awareness Organization is excited and thankful to be connected with this Network of like-minded organizations dedicated to making a change in the area of Rare Epilepsy!
